Engineer Call Outs
While we don’t expect to have to send one of our engineers to review a suspected faulty cartridge, it does happen. It’s a mechanical product and sometimes these do go wrong, a supplier that tells you that never happens may need to take a lie detector test. Our engineers are outsourced to trusted suppliers for the last 10 years.
All our engineers are fully qualified with over 10 years experience working specifically with desktop or copier print devices. We outsource our engineers as the simple truth is we don’t need fulltime engineers. We don’t receive many requests in a month given we’ve a less than 1% return rate and therefore don’t require a fulltime engineer on call.
All calls if requested are completed the next working day once logged by 3pm. Each call out will have completed a report sheet detailing the model of the machine, print count, estimated age of the device, reported fault and then diagnosed fault along with a recommended resolution. We provide this service on all our toner & copier cartridges as part of our warranty, this service is not provided for with Ink cartridges, tapes & labels. We do offer this service to our customers should they wish to use it to simply service their customers devices. Like a car a printing device needs a service every 2-3 years to ensure it lifecycle.
